  • Without reservations on Monday evening a few minutes before opening. Party of 3 before us were turned away, but my wife and I were seated. Many others without reservations were turned away from this 7 table (inside) establishment. Full on "French" dinner of escargot, Coq au vin, & Creme Brulee was quite memorable, and our server (Charles) was impeccable. We would highly recommend this establishment.

  • Very nice place! The food was very good. The fried cheese was good, maybe too little jam. The dessert were not very good, the glace at salted caramel had ice picecs inside, and the crème brûlée was too cold. Overall good. In two we paid 71€ with a glass of wine 9€. The waiter was very very kind, we liked him a lot.

  • The perfect place in Dijon to experience the local atmosphere and taste. In front of the old Justice Court, around the corner of Liberation Square, this absolute gem serve fresh local dishes for the ridiculous price of €31,- for a 3-course dinner. The waiter is very friendly and knowledgeable and even gave us amazing tips for local bars and go-to’s. We enjoyed it so much that we immediately made a reservation for the next day. Be aware that the restaurant only serves between 19h00 and 21h00 and was fully booked on the two days that we visited (Thursday and Friday), so I advise you to make an reservation to avoid any disappointment :) Would absolutely recommend!

  • If you are looking for simple, authentic French food that you wish your grandmother made, look no further. The veal tongue may be a finalist for final last meal wishes. Not for everyone perhaps, but wow! I easily could have two orders in a sitting with a bottle of Pommard and call it a night. No frills. But service, wine, and food do not disappoint and the atmosphere does not distract from the point of it all (“cozy” is a good word here).

  • Lovely restaurant in a quiet back street serving traditional local food. Coq au vin and cheese starter were great.

  • It’s in a small square that’s away from the crowd. We got lucky and got a table without reservations because we went early but reservations recommended, they get very busy. Lots of traditional dishes, food was amazing. Friendly staff.

  • Cozy and nice restaurant, attentive and warm service. They have been lovely since from a prompt reply to our booking by email. We enjoyed almost the entire menu and it was delicious. We’ll sure come back.

  • Hidden gem in the center of the city but away from the crowds and noise. The waiter was really nice and helped us to understand every dish of the menu in English, really good traditional french food and right price for good quality. I highly recommend it!
